Hard Drives - Special Offer

For a limited time (ie: from now until whenever I remove this page!), I am offering the following special deal:

This will get you a 250-gigabyte Seagate or Maxtor hard drive stuffed with Old Time Radio files. This drive will be mounted in an external USB 2.0 enclosure, making it completely portable.

You may also opt for a larger drive, to give yourself room to add to your collection later. Please visit my supplier, Memory Express for pricing (in Canadian dollars) of drives. Figure out the total price of the drive you want, and subtract the value of the drive mentioned above. That's how much extra I need you to pay (see below). You should consult with me (at vaultkeeper@oldtimeradiovault.com) before sending me any money, even if you don't wish to modify the above special deal: there are some questions I'll have for you, designed to ensure that you will actually be able to use the hard drive I'm sending you.

(Note 1: the hard drive will be an IDE drive as that's what works with the external drive enclosure. If you prefer a SATA drive that you will mount in your own PC yourself, please let me know.)

(Note 2: Firewire-capable enclosures are available upon request.)

If you want extra equipment listed on the website (pricing is excellent!), I'd be happy to grab all that stuff for you, from my supplier, Memory Express. This will be on a cost basis: whatever it costs me, is what it costs you.

HOWEVER,

If you ask me to pick up anything over and above the "special deal" mentioned above, please note that Canada has a 6% "Goods & Services Tax" (GST) and that the prices on Memory Express' website do not reflect this tax. Similarly, I cannot eat the PayPal charge on this stuff, since I am merely passing along the cost to you exactly as it is charged to me. So, you'll be asked to add 6% to any additional charges to cover the tax, plus 3% *IF* you are using PayPal (not if paying via other means). In the example above, $70 becomes $76.30 if paid by PayPal or $74.20 otherwise.
